Community Advisory Committee Parent Ambassadors

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is seeking dedicated Parent Ambassadors to help strengthen communication and connection between families and schools.

 

What is a CAC Parent Ambassador?

A Parent Ambassador is a volunteer who:

  • Attends monthly CAC meetings
  • Shares important information with their school community
  • Helps families understand programs, rights, and available resources
  • Strengthens communication between the district, school, and families of students receiving special services
  • Ensures parent perspectives help shape special education services


Why Become a Parent Ambassador?

As a Parent Ambassador, you will:

  • Make a meaningful impact on student success and inclusion

  • Help families stay informed and supported

  • Build stronger partnerships between school and home

  • Gain knowledge about special education, district programs, and advocacy

  • Serve as a valued leader within your school’s parent community

  • Partner collaboratively with district and site staff
