Transportation Update for the 2025–2026 School Year

At PVUSD, our Transportation Department is committed to safely getting students to and from school each day. Due to ongoing driver shortages, we begin most mornings short-staffed. While we work hard to cover all routes, we must prioritize routes required by state and federal law—such as those for students with special needs, foster youth, and homeless youth.
We continue to provide transportation for our regular education students thanks to the support of our Board of Trustees. However, routes that are not mandated may be impacted on a day-to-day basis if staffing falls short.
🔔 ParentSquare Notifications
If we are unable to accommodate a specific route, families will be notified through ParentSquare as soon as possible so that alternate arrangements can be made.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to improve staffing and coverage. Our goal is to provide consistent, reliable transportation for all students whenever possible.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
