Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD) is committed to accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and providing high-quality Expanded Learning opportunities for students in grades TK–12.

 

PVUSD Expanded Learning programs are regularly evaluated in accordance with applicable California Department of Education (CDE) and federal program requirements. Programs funded through the After School Education and Safety (ASES) program, 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program, and other applicable Expanded Learning funding sources participate in required evaluation, data collection, monitoring, and reporting activities.

 

For programs receiving 21st CCLC funding, PVUSD completes required federal reporting through the Annual Performance Review (APR) process, including applicable Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) measures. These requirements support the collection and review of program participation, attendance, implementation, student outcomes, and other measures used to evaluate program effectiveness.

 

PVUSD uses evaluation and program data as part of an ongoing continuous-improvement process. Information is reviewed to identify program strengths, areas for growth, student and family needs, and opportunities to strengthen access, quality, engagement, and alignment with the regular school day.
