How to apply for Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten
On the PVUSD Home Page select the box to the right titled Enrollment.
You will be directed to the Enrollment page. Select the black rectangle labeled “TK/Kindergarten Registration Now Online!”.
You will now be directed to the Online Registration Account Access page ParentVue. Only log in if you currently have a username and password. Or if you have a child currently attending a PVUSD school or program. If you are not able to log in contact the school office of the oldest child currently enrolled at PVUSD for support.
Or select the Create a New Account option, only if you do not have children currently enrolled in a PVUSD school or program and your child is new to PVUSD. If you are not able to log in and do not have an older child enrolled in PVUSD contact the Child Development Department at 786-8270.
Once logged into ParentVue follow the steps to complete the Online Registration under the 2024-2025 school year.
Who is age eligible?
Kindergarten Age:
Child turns 5 years old before or by September 1, 2024
Transitional Kindergarten Age:
Child turns 5 years old between September 2, 2024, through June 2, 2025
Expanded Transitional Kindergarten:
Child turns 5 years old between June 3, 2025, through August 2, 2025

En la pagina PVUSD Home Page seleccione el cuadro a la derecha titulado Enrollment.
Será dirigido a la página de Enrollment. Seleccione el rectángulo negro con la etiqueta “Registracion TK/Kinder Disponible En Linea.”
Ahora será dirigido a la página Online Registration Account Access ParentVue. Inicie la sesión únicamente si actualmente tiene un nombre de usuario y contraseña. O si tiene un hijo que actualmente asiste a una escuela o programa de PVUSD. Si no puede iniciar su sesión, comuníquese con la oficina de la escuela del niño mayor actualmente inscrito en PVUSD para obtener ayuda.
O seleccione la opción Create a New Account, solo si no tiene niños actualmente inscritos en una escuela o programa de PVUSD y su menor es nuevo a PVUSD. Si no puede iniciar la sesión y no tiene un niño mayor inscrito en PVUSD, comuníquese con el Departamento de Desarrollo Infantil al 786-8270.
Una vez que haya iniciado su sesión en ParentVue, siga los pasos para completar la inscripción en línea para el año escolar 2024-2025.

Edad de Kinder:
El niño cumple 5 años antes o para el 1 de septiembre de 2024
Edad de Kinder Transicional:
El niño cumple 5 años entre el 2 de septiembre de 2024 y el 2 de junio de 2025.

PVUSD offers Transitional Kindergarten (TK) to students who turn 5 between September 2, 2024, through June 2, 2025. Transitional Kindergarten is a district-wide, free program for age-eligible students. Transportation is available on set routes.
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Expanded Transitional Kindergarten (ETK) will be held at the following sites for the 2024-2025 school year:
Full-day sessions:
- Amesti, Calabasas, HA Hyde (Bilingual), Hall District, Mar Vista, Mintie White (Bilingual), Radcliff, Starlight (Bilingual), and Valencia.
Part day session:
- Bradley
Expanded Transitional Kindergarten (ETK) enrollment as space allows.
