Public Comment
Members of the public who wish to address the Board may do so in person by completing a speaker card before the start of the Public Comment agenda item.

Speaker cards must be submitted prior to the discussion of the specific agenda item the individual wishes to address. Once discussion on an item has begun, additional speaker cards for that item will not be accepted.

Each individual public comment is limited to two (2) minutes, unless otherwise announced by the Board President.

The total time allotted for public comment on any single agenda item is 30 minutes. With Board consent, the President may adjust this time based on the number of speakers and the nature of the item.

The Board President may poll speakers for or against a particular issue and may request additional comments only if they offer new information.
Per legal guidance, public comment is not permitted during Employee Organization Comments agenda items.
Individuals submitting a speaker card are not required to use their legal name and may use any name of their choosing. Speakers may state their name at the beginning of their remarks if they wish.
Please note that presentations or visual materials from members of the public are not accepted during public comment.
In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, for those requiring special assistance to access the Board meeting room, to access written documents being discussed at the Board meeting, or to otherwise participate at Board meetings, please contact the Board Secretary at (831) 786-2135 for assistance. Notification at least 48 hours before the meeting will enable the district to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility to the Board meeting and to provide any required accommodations, auxiliary aids or services.
Documents provided to a majority of the governing Board regarding an open session item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the district office located at 294 Green Valley Road, Watsonville CA, 95076 during normal business hours.
Santa Cruz Community Television (CTV) will be running Board Meetings on Comcast Channel 25 and on Charter channel 71 on Fridays at 6:00 PM, Sundays at 8:00 AM
