Eight Pajaro Valley High School teachers have completed a 168-page High School Teacher’s Curricular Guide to Wetland Education in the Pajaro Valley and Beyond. The project is part of a program at the Fitz Wetlands Educational Resource Center called Project S.E.E (Slough-based Environmental Education) which was funded by NOAA. The guide is filled with standards-based high school lessons aimed at incorporating the ecological, geographical, and cultural elements of the Pajaro Valley into the classroom. Each lesson has an outdoor focus which enables students to learn in a hands-on experiential way and every lesson has been piloted at least twice. Please check out the guide and learn more about the program at www.fitzwerc.org/wlinks/projectsee.htm
