Join the celebration of our Pajaro Valley Unified School District students who have worked hard to be eligible and marketable to the Ivy League Colleges.  This April students from Watsonville and Pajaro Valley High Schools will visit and stay with students at:  Harvard, MIT, Wellesley, Boston University, Brown University, Yale, Princeton and Columbia.  Let’s help them experience these universities first hand by attending this amazing performance!

Come join us at the Mello!

One evening performance! Renowned musicians and dancers will dazzle audiences in Watsonville

Watsonville’s premiere Mexican dance company, Esperanza del Valle, youth dance company, Semillas de Esperanza and San José’s favorite Latin dance band, Cuatro con 3, come together to support high school youth with a special cultural event at the Mello stage Friday, February 20th, 2009, featuring Esperanza del Valle’s beautifully choreographed regions of the Huasteca, Guerrero and Nayarit. Semillas de Esperanza will demonstrate their skills with the energetic Calabaciado and fabulous sones of Veracruz. Latin dance band Cuatro con 3, playing to the beats of cumbia, salsa and cha cha, will inspire the audience to get out of their seats and dance. This performance promises to be an unforgettable experience of dance and music. Bring the entire family!
