The applicant will be required to present one of the following acceptable forms of identification:

  • Your driver license or ID card issued by a state or outlying possession of the U.S. provided it contains a photograph
  • ID card issued by the federal, state, or local government or entities it contains a photograph
  • U.S. Military ID card with photograph
  • U.S. Passport with photograph and
  • Alien Registration Card with photograph

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I have been fingerprinted before with a different agency/employer. My prints are in the system. Can you use those fingerprint results?

No. The Department of Justice requires each applicant be re-fingerprinted with every new application for employment. For your privacy protection, personal background information cannot be shared between agencies.

When can I get my result?

Processing times vary.  A response from the Department of Justice can take just a few hours, to days and sometimes months.  Please call approximately 7 days from the day you were fingerprinted to get your results.

 

How much do you charge?

Live scan Fingerprinting services is free to Pajaro Valley District employees, substitutes and volunteers.
