The goals of the Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD) Health Services Program are to improve the health of students, decrease absences due to illness, provide access to other health and human services (including the Healthy Start Resource Centers), and prevent childhood injuries. Under the direction of Carol Lankford, Director of Special Services, the PVUSD Health Services Program carries out these goals utilizing two types of health care providers, credentialed school nurses and health services assistants. The Health Services Program is provided to all students enrolled in PVUSD pre-k thru post-secondary. |
