Cultivating and Sharing Knowledge
Parents,
teachers, administrators, and community
members are invited to attend this
year's Pajaro Valley Unified School
District (PVUSD) Parent Conference. The
annual conference will be held
from 8:00am to 3:00pm, on Saturday,

The
theme of this year's conference
is "Parents: Teachers and Partners." In order to achieve
our goals of success for all of our students, all those associated
with the education of our students
must be work together in partnership. This includes
parents, teachers, school administration,
and the community.
A
keynote address will be delivered
by Jerry Tello and Sacred Circles; "Culture Heals" featuring Aztec dance, music and theater. Twenty workshops on parenting and education will be
offered free of charge to those
who attend. They will be
presented by community agencies, district teachers,
administrators and parents. All conference
activities are sponsored by PVUSD, The Santa Cruz County Office of Education, First 5 of Santa Cruz County, La Manzana Community Resource Center, The Center for Justice Tolerance and Community of UCSC, and Santa Cruz County Reclaiming Futures Initiative.
