Cell Phone and Blackberry Costs
FIRST thing is you need to enter a help request ticket,
The cost for a regular cell phone is as follows:
NEXTEL cell plan’s is a monthly cost of $39.99 + the onetime fee of the purchase of a new phone (if it’s a new unit)
The units come in the following flavors:
i335 by Motorola at $49.99 each
i570 by Nextel at $59.99 each
The cost for a blackberry is as follows:
BB rate plan is $48 per month
The BB standard model is a World Edition 8830 priced at $199.99
The BB One-time service CHARGE is $183.00 to start service and then it would continue on the monthly cycle fee of our current PVUSD plan
The grand total you are looking at is a first month charge of ~$383 ($382.99) then $48 per month thereafter
SECOND, you will need to turn in a Contract there are many different types depending on your scenario: new cell, new BB, replacement, upgrade, name change....
You must complete the CUA and send in to Technology Services. Please email rosa_rocha@pvusd.net for the appropriate Contract needed for your order/situation.
THIRD, Your phone is activated and ready for pick-up,
You will be notified by email to stop by to pick-up your unit from Technology Services and to sign-off on the receiving form for your new unit. We will start the service monthly plan cycle fee of the acquired monthly fees depending on the unit you have, NOTE you must be sure to budget money in object 5905 of the management program you will be using for the monthly cycle fee charge-outs - for school sites it must meet their school site plan.
