Performance Benchmark 1.0 to be achieved by 6/29/07: The percentage of students in the target group that demonstrate an increase in their use of technology in year one as a tool to support meeting or exceeding academic content standards will increase from 18% in the 2005/06 school year to 40% by 6/29/07.

Performance Benchmark 1.0 to be achieved by 6/30/08: The percentage of students in the target group that demonstrate an increase in their use of technology in year two as a tool to support meeting or exceeding academic content standards will increase from a baseline of 40% in the 2006-07 school year to 60% by 6/30/08.

The EdTechProfile Student Technology Use Survey wil be used for the baseline, post-year one and post-year two comparison.

Baseline data has been collected. Students will take the EdTechProfile Student Technology Use Survey at the end of year one and year two.

*Additional Performance Goal 1.1:

Student performance will improve on the Writing Applications component of the California Standards Test.

The California Standards Test(CST), 7th grade Writing Applications test will be used for the baseline, post-year one and post-year two comparison.

Baseline data has been collected. Students will take the CST in the spring of year one and year two.

Performance Benchmark to be achieved by 6/30/07:

The percentage of students scoring above a 5 on the Writing Applications component of the Calfornia Standards Test will increase from 4% in the 2005-2006 school year to 10% in the 2006-2007 school year.

Performance Benchmark to be achieved by 6/30/08:

The percentage of students scoring above a 5 on the Writing Applications component of the Calfornia Standards Test will increase from 10% in the 2005-2006 school year to 18% in the 2006-2007 school year.
