In his 21^st Century Classroom, Mr. Hoffman is primarily focusing on utilizing the technology to assess student progress towards their learning goals. Through online polling, quizzes through Google forms, whiteboard apps for students to quickly demonstrate skills, he will be able to instantly see where his students’ strengths and weaknesses are and give immediate and appropriate feedback.  He is also engaging students by using digital storytelling and whiteboard apps for students to creatively demonstrate what they have learned by planning and creating a digital movie using academic vocabulary while recording their script about a scientific concept.  In addition, Mr. Hoffman hopes to enhance laboratory experiences by electronically collecting laboratory data for students to strengthen important analytical and laboratory skills.
