High Academic Standards
     School improvement is a high priority at the Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD).
     We have fully implemented class size reduction in grades K-3 with a 20:1 student/teacher ratio.
     Our nationally recognized New Teacher Project provides ongoing coaching and support to improve instruction.
     In-depth teacher evaluation, professional development, and a strong curriculum combine to ensure quality learning for all students.

     We employ a team of highly-skilled teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff and administrators committed to success for all students.

     We deliver a dynamic educational program to over 19,000 students at our sixteen elementary schools, six middle schools, three high schools, five charter schools, seventeen children´s centers, a continuation high school, an Adult Education School, and two alternative schools.
