Healthy Start offers a variety of services, and each center has different services they provide. For more information  regarding services at each site please give them a call.  Some of the services include: 

• CHDP Health Exams
• Health Insurance Enrollment
• (Healthy Families, MediCal & Healthy Kids)
• Immunizations
• Information and Referral
• Preventative & Restorative
• Dental Referrals
• Students in Transition (SIT )
• Healthy Start Referral Form - All Centers

Serving students without primary medical and dental providers. Services vary at each center, so please call for information.

Health Insurance Coverage Programs

Healthy Families and Medi-Cal for Children are two low-cost (and free to some families) health insurance coverage programs offered by the State.  These programs offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision care coverage.  To obtain more information on how to access affordable health coverage, parents can contact any of the PVUSD Resource Centers for assistance.
