Mac OSX users should click on “Teachers' Version for Mac OSX” or the
“Administrators' Version for Mac OSX” link
Step 2:
Mac users will download to the location you have in your browser’s preferences: usually the Desktop. If you are prompted for a place to store the file, pick one. Mac users will download the following files:
Classic for Teachers: pvusdTeval.sea.bin
Classic for Administrators: pvusdAeval.sea.bin
OSX for Teachers: pvusdTeval.dmg
OSX for Administrators:
pvusdAeval.dmg
Step 3:
Then go to that folder and double-click on the file you just downloaded. Classic Mac Teachers will see the Self Expanding Archive window open briefly and then end up with a folder named PVUSDEvalEngineTOS9
Classic Mac Administrators will see the Self Expanding Archive window open briefly and then end up with a folder named PVUSDEvalEngineAOS9
OSX Teachers will see Disk Copy open, do some checks and then present the “volume” PVUSDEvalEngineTOSX.Select both files in that volume with your mouse and drag them somewhere on your hard drive.
OSX Administrators will see Disk Copy open, do some checks and then present the “volume” PVUSDEvalEngineAOSX. Select both files in that volume with your mouse and drag them somewhere on your hard drive.
Step 4:
Then go to the folder where you saved these files in the step above and find the folder you just expanded. In that folder is a file named :
PVUSDEvalEngine
[Note: Once the OSX copy has been downloaded, if your browser kept the name PVUSDEvalEngine.dmg.bin, then remove the ".bin" extension and open the resulting file.]
Double click on that file to begin work!
Please Note: Downloading some of these files can take between 3-50 minutes, depending upon how fast your Internet connection is. So please be prepared to allow enough time.
