I CAN DO STANDARDS!
In order to have students and
parents more involved in their learning PVUSD
is using the I CAN DO STANDARDS! to make learning
more transparent. Many teachers are using
these with students and getting much better
results. After the lists there are sample
letters to principals, teachers and parents
about their use. If these do not show up correctly
on your computer go to your toolbar and chose
Print Layout from the View menu. Please let

The Poster Style reduces the standards to a few pages. These are meant to blow up and use on the wall with students, copy and give to parents, use with students to keep track and set goals for learning. Available are:
The Scholarly Traits Posters are used monthly to highlight what a successful student needs to have. We used them with a campaign called SHOW WHAT YOU KNOW that is a year long test preparation program.
