This site connects the teacher to writing resources correlated to the textbook series being used. The site is organized by textbook and grade level.
At this site the teacher will find an explanation and definition for each writing genre. Also included are the California State standards and expectations for writing.
Teachers will find information from Step Up to Writing, the elements of writing, descriptions of the writing process connected to the text, and web site resources for writing.
This site contains resources that include: rubrics, anchor papers by grade level, prompts to use, CST information, and district/state assessment schedules.
