Dear Technology Stakeholder,

You have been identified as a “technology stakeholder” for your site or department and hence we would like to invite you to the first district technology stakeholder gathering scheduled for:

 

Monday, November 7, 2005

4:00 PM - 5:15 PM

District Office Board Room

 

This gathering is a time for district office employees, school site employees and parent/community volunteers to meet and collaborate around areas of technology integration in the school district. It is a time to meet the new Technology Director, Tim Landeck, and to learn about district-wide technology initiatives. You will hear about ways that you can impact the direction of technology in the district and at the same time build relationships and collaborate with others to help move your school tech agenda forward.

 

The tentative agenda is as follows:

 

                            4:00       Introductions

                            4:05       District Technology Initiatives: Wireless Installation & Access, E-Rate Projects for Year 9, Technology Steering Committee formation, Email Notification lists, Technology Liaison Program, Online Help Ticket System & Technical Support Strategies, Online curricular subscriptions (NetTrekker & Atomic Learning), the new Technology Staff Development Plan, other

                            4:45       Questions and Answers/ Discussion

                            4:55       Light refreshments and collaboration

                            5:15       Adjourn
