  No Uniforms

     Why are uniforms at school anyway? There are at least 3 reasons why we should be free to wear what we want before, during, and after school.  We should not be told  that we are in a gang of some sort.

     My first reason is that no matter what we try to do, there will still be gangs. For example if we wear a certain color we like, schools  automatically think we are in a gang when we just like the color. Schools encourage kids to wear their colors because kids like to do the opposite of what the adults say most of the time.

     My second reason is that the uniforms they give us are plain and dull. They don’t exactly have school spirit. Most schools think if they wear their mascots’ colors they have school spirit, well it isn't really working.

     My third and final reason is that kids will do anything to get what they want. For example kids will keep making colors for gangs to wear in school. And it will repeat itself over and over again until all the colors are used up.

     In conclusion, there are at least 3 goods reasons  why uniforms shouldn't be aloud before, during, and after school. Adults seem to misjudge kids for wearing certain colors and if there was no uniform policy kids would be able to prove to them that just because they wear a certain color it doesn’t mean they’re in a gang.

 

GIRLS-ONLY GYM CLASS

      Girls should have their own gym class. Let me tell you three reasons why a girls-only gym class is a good idea.

      My first reason is that girls should have their only gym class because boys are rough. For example, the boys are bigger and stronger than girls and the boys could kick the ball very hard and they could hurt the girls. Girls could get hurt playing sports against boys.

     My second reason is that girls like to do different sports. For example, the girls might want to do dance and the boys don’t want do dance. The girls like to do more fun things because the boys only want to play basketball and soccer. The girls like to do aerobics and self-defense.

     My third reason is that girls sometimes feel self-conscious and shy in front of boys. For example, they exercise harder without boys around. Many girls prefer different gym activities. Girls sometimes like to play soccer but girls don’t kick very hard like boys do. Boys should’t have to take part in these activities if they don’t want to.

     In conclusion, girls should have their own gym-class. Girls and boys together could cause an accident.

 

Rock is Better to Listen to Than Rap

     Classic rock is better to listen to then rap. There are three reasons why classic rock is better than rap.

     One of the reasons is that classic rock is mostly love songs, and there is too much hate in rap. For example Every Breath you take by the Police is a song about someone that is in love with someone. Another example is rap has  too much violence, cussing, and trash.

      The second reason is rap has a lot of gang related lyrics, and I don't like gangs. The reasons I don't like gangs are because they kill, stab, threaten you, and they are bullies.

      The third reason is that rock has this long history since the 50's when rock had started. Rap has only been around for 15 years. Rappers sometimes get their ideas from rock songs, or they get a rock song and turn into a rap song, and I hate when they do that.

       In conclusion, rock is better to listen to then rap. What would you prefer to listen to ACDC, or Chris Brown?

We should have morning announcements on TV in all the school in Pajaro Valley Unified School District. In this paper I will write three reasons why.

            My first reason  is we already have the TVs in the room. What would it coast you to turn on a TV and watch someone tell us the news. It would not cost much to install a TV because they’re already there. For example all the teacher would do is turn on the TV and there it is.

            My second reason is kids would pay more attention if they see a  person talking to them than listening to  someone talk. For example you could be talking to your friend and miss the announcement that there is no school on Friday.

             My third reason is you would get more visual entertainment. For example, let’s say you weren't at the last basketball home game.  Well in the morning you could see what happened in the morning announcement on TV.

             In conclusion, I hope this helps you understand the benefits of having the morning announcements on TVs. You make the choice!

 

XBOX VS PLAYSTATION 2

I think that the Xbox is better then the Play Station 2. Let me give you three reasons why you should buy an Xbox instead of a Play Station 2.  

     My first reason is that with the Xbox you can listen to music, but with the Play Station 2 you can watch DVD movies. I prefer listening to music. If I want to watch a DVD then I would put it in my DVD player.

     My second reason is that the Xbox has better games like Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, Spider-Man and Halo. The Play Station 2 does not have good games. It has boring games like Bat-Man, My Little Pony and the Haunted House.

     My third reason is that the Xbox has better graphics. When you are playing a game on the Xbox it is like you are there in the game. For example if you are playing the game Jaws Unleashed it is like you are the shark eating citizens.

     In conclusion the Xbox is better than the Play Station 2. If you want to spend your money wisely then you should buy an Xbox.
