These are the Desired Outcomes discussed by our members.

 

 

• -SWEET will be a tool for implementation of the Cal ELA standards to support the adopted curriculum and empower teachers to effectively teach writing including genre, organization, development and expression of ideas, voice and style, conventions and grammar.

 

• –SWEET will be used to emphasize the importance of writing in LA and across the curriculum by providing students with authentic purposes and audience for writing.

 

• -SWEET will simplify assessing student work and monitoring the writing process.

 

 

• -SWEET will utilize technology to enhance student achievement and get students excited about writing.

 

• -SWEET will enable teachers to feel comfortable, successful and excited about using technology in the classroom.
