Intel® Teach to the Future is a worldwide effort to help teachers integrate technology into instruction and enhance student learning. |
The Intel Teach to the Future site has a lot of great technology integration resources. Two of the district's Tech Liaisons, David Slavin and Betty Geesman have been trained to teach the Intel Essentials course and the Thinking Tools course. These courses were offered as summer intitutes in June 2006. Fourty teachers were trained in 3 summer institutes. We are in the process of coordinating similar institutes for the winter break.
